Showing Up

Showing up is the hardest and the easiest part of any endeavor. Anyone who has to show up to anything knows that a considerable percentage of the effort resides in this act. If you can just show up, you'll probably be fine. You might even do well.

Hell, if you keep showing up you may even change yourself, your life, your perspective, etc etc. If you show up to enough things, you'll always have something.

The whole expression of 'showing up' is, of course, really just a trite stand in for persistence. It means just what it is: doing something everyday.

You become better with this; you find purpose through this; you elevate others through this. You may even hate whatever you're showing up to do. Show up anyway.
